Slopcheck

Paste text and get per-axis scores for clarity, filler, and weak claims, each with provider confidence.

Slopcheck

Slopcheck tells you where a piece of writing leaks: what is unclear, what is padding, and what is asserted without evidence.

How it works

Paste any text — a paragraph, a doc section, a post. One server-side request asks Jev three rubric questions in parallel:

  • Clarity — from incomprehensible to crystal clear (higher is better).
  • Filler — from no filler to almost all filler (higher is worse).
  • Weak claims — from no weak claims to pure assertion (higher is worse).

Each axis returns a score, its rubric level, the full probability distribution, and provider confidence. The roll-up banner is computed in code from the three axes and labeled as derived.

Scope for this version

Text you paste is evaluated directly. Fetching arbitrary URLs is intentionally out of scope: input stays a single bounded text field (20,000 characters max), rate-limited to 10 requests per minute per IP.

Privacy

Text is evaluated in the serverless function and never stored. Receipts show the model, tokens, total server time, and provider confidence.
